be365 app reviewHorse Racing Betting Apps Reviews the bet365 App

bet365 has always been one of our favourite places to bet on sports like the racing and the football. They released their bet365 app a few years back to keep up with other bookmakers as mobile phone technology advanced. Once iPad’s and tablets were introduced, bet365 also developed an app for these as well. We believe it to be one of the best betting apps on the market.

It’s an excellent app. It’s quick, intuitive and has very clear options and a great A-Z menu. It’s the best betting app we’ve come across for navigation. It allows for a super quick login. We were able to watch certain events via the app. We found the bet365 app was superb for placing sports bets both pre-match and in-play. In fact the range of pre-match markets was excellent and in-play betting was the best you’ll find on any app. You can’t ask for much more from betting app. Well done bet365!

When using the apps we had to have location turned on. We presume this is meet the various gambling legislation out there, i.e if you’re in certain countries you can’t gamble so you can’t use the bet365 app. Just as an aside you do need to be over 18 to use bet365’s services and please gamble responsibly, if you have any issues with gambling there is a number at the bottom of the page.

We found the Android, iPhone, iPad and web interfaces are very similar and so the below description covers apps for all platforms.

Navigating and Using the bet365 App for Sports Betting
bet365 have the number one app for sports betting in our opinion. The app is simple to use and my grandma could navigate around the app and place a bet in seconds.

When we opened the app up there were a number of menus. If we ever wanted to get back to the home screen we just had to tap on bet365 in the top centre of the screen.

The top menu allowed us to quickly swap between the sportsbook, in-play betting, casino, poker, games, Vegas, Bingo and extras (where you’ll find the latest promotions, betting news, social stuff and site features). This menu could be hidden by tapping on ‘bet365’ located in the middle of the screen.

Under the top menu there were links to the full A-Z Sports menu and in-play betting. In this location there were also buttons we could tap on to join or login to the bet365 app.

Tapping on the A-Z menu revealed a full A-Z sports menu, as well as an A-Z in-play menu and a list of gaming services.

The A-Z sports menu meant that we could quickly navigate between the different sports markets that bet365 has available. bet365 do have a full range of sports that you can bet on, it’s possibly the biggest range of sports available at any bookmaker to bet on.

When we clicked on a sport such as horse racing there was a search button so we could quickly search for the runner that we wanted to back. There was also a audio button allowing us to listen to bet365’s live audio feed for horses, greyhounds and soccer. Under these buttons the next three coupons were displayed, allowing us to quickly place bets on the next races to be run. If we scrolled down the screen we could see racing from North America, Australia, UK & Ireland as well well as international and virtual racing. Further down the screen we were able to access the antepost markets. Racing was listed in alphabetical order of racecourses with racing taking place on the day of testing the app. It was also possible to look at racing taking place on the next day or subsequent days deepening on the country. We were also able to turn notifications for race off and results on for Australian, UK & Irish and International racing. We were able to request updates by day, racecourse or each individual race we were interested in.

When we looked at the in-play menu it revealed an A-Z list of the sports we could bet in-play at that time, and the number of in-play events available to bet on. When we click on a sport such as tennis it expanded to reveal the current live tennis tennis we could bet on. We clicked on a match and it revealed a a tennis pitch and we could follow each point with aces, double faults etc. It showed set scores, percentage of 1st serve wins and break point conversions. We could click on a bell icon and get match notifications sent straight to out phone. There was also a watch icon which would allow us to watch the tennis match live. On scrolling down the screen could see a comprehensive range of in play markets for the match.

If you click on the gaming icon, you are given a list of bet365’s gaming products, when you click on these you are taken to the webpage for these products where you can either play games via the mobile friendly web version or you can download another app.

When we scrolled to the bottom of the page there were links for we were able to study horse racing form, both horse, jockey and trainer from the racecards.

We found that the app, on all devices and platforms was super simple and easy to use, and was quite fast as well. The app featured all of the betting tools we needed to place bets on the move, whether we wanted to bet on the horses or the football.

At the time of testing the app had full account management from within both android, iOS and mobile apps, meaning that we could manage our account from our phone when on the move or from the laptop or tablet when at home. e.g we could add more money to our account or withdraw funds.

We found that on all platforms the bet365 app was a fantastic betting app that offered an extensive range of both pre-match and In-Play markets for a wide range of sports. It also had a great range of features and promotional offers.

We found that we got a great betting experience that was tailored to whatever device that we were using. The bet365 app offered us one of the best user experiences so far.

Quality of bet365 App Features
When it comes to betting features we found bet365 to have an unrivalled selection. There app had all the features we or anyone else could ever need (well until a bookie comes up with another feature that we can’t live without 🙂 )

When we talk about app features we’re talking about “user tools” inherent in the product used to perform the functions or in this case place a bet. A feature that we don’t seem to be able to live without these days is cash out. A number of bookies have the cash out product but none that we have tested so far is as good as Cash Out at bet365.

On some occasions during testing we weren’t happy with the way the match was going and therefore the potential outcome of our bet we were able to cash out and minimise our loss, or if the bet was going the way we wanted it to we could cash out and make sure our bet was a winner. We discovered that with the bet365 slider we could just cash out part of our bet and leave some of the bet still running. We were able to use the cash out product on certain pre-match and In-Play bets. It was also possible to create an auto cash out request once we had placed out bet and our bet was automatically cashed out when that value was reached. This meant we could place our bet, enable auto cash out and get on with the rest of our day safe in the knowledge that our bet would automatically be settled. We were disappointed to find that the cash out features wasn’t available for all bets.

We were happy to discover that when cash out was available it was also possible to change our unsettled bets, we could edit the bet. It’s a great feature that we’ve not found on any other betting app. We’d placed a pre-match accumulator, but we decided just before kick off that we wern’t happy with the selections. We were able to swap our selections. It was the difference between our acca winning and losing.

We also found that bet365 had some unique features such as match live, little graphics revealing In-Play match action. This was great for making decisions when we wanted to place an In-Play bet on the soccer, tennis, basketball and a couple of other sports.

The Range of bet365 Offers and Promotions
bet365 have plenty of offers and promotions available for the football and horse racing. We have found that these offers never change, which is good as we always know where we stand with the offers. Some bookies swap and change the offers all the time and that can get confusing. However sometimes it would be nice if they threw in the odds extra offer just to keep things exciting.

When we checked on December 8th 2017 bet365 had a great range of incredible betting offers for the racing that all customers could take advantage of. Visit bet365 to see what the latest offers are.

Downloading the bet365 App
We found that the easiest way to download the bet365 app is to navigate to the bet365 mobile site from our mobile device. Once the site loaded there was a button that we could tap on at the top of the screen which downloaded the app for our device. It was much quicker than trying to locate the correct app in the iTunes or Google Play store. Obviously bet365 might move the exact location of the download button, but we can’t see it being moved far from the top as they will want you to find the button, so you can bet with them.

Downloading the bet365 Android App
When we searched for the bet365 app in the GooglePlay store we found five bet365 apps, bet365, bet365 news, bet365 casino, bet365 bingo, bet365 poker and bet365 Vegas. All five apps were made by the same company. It was easy to distinguish between the apps, so we could quickly download the betting app.

There were a couple of other apps which had bet365 in the title, which were not made by the company that developed the bet365 app. This could be confusing for some.

We downloaded the bet365 app for sports betting. It was quick and easy to download and install the app. We had to turn on our phones location so that bet365 new what country we were in. I guess if we had been in certain countries we might not have been able to download the app. Gambling isn’t allowed in some countries so bet365 are just ensuring that they don’t allow people to bet if they are in one of those countries.

A number of people have rated the bet365 app in the Google Play store, when we looked on the 13th December 2017, it only had an average rating of 3.3 out of 5. However many people including ourselves would give the bet365 app 5 out of 5. The reason it has an average score of much lower than it deserves is probably because more people who have had a negative experience have reviewed the app than those that had a positive experience. It’s human nature to moan when thinks don’t work than complement when they do work.
